We recently received a box of fascinating archive material from the granddaughter of a former P.E. teacher and hockey coach, Ms Sarah Tudor.
Ms Tudor had saved a number of important memories of her time working at Dame Alice Owen's including photos of the hockey teams she coached, photos of HRH Princess Royal's visit to the Potters Bar site opening in 1976 and all of her invitations to Visitation plus thank you cards from students.
It speaks volumes that former staff & pupils take the time to store and keep these precious memories and is testament to the great sense of pride that is felt at being a part of the Owen's community.
We would love to hear from you with any stories or historical artefacts.
